This is the original acrylic face mount print method
A method that takes extra attention, but is worth the effort, and we feel, superior to printing directly on the acrylic (plexi)
First, your photo is printed on professional-grade high gloss photo paper.
Face mounting to acrylic, with a Dibond backer, encapsulates the image between
3mm of premium grade acrylic and a 3mm metal (Dibond) backer
Thus permanently “sandwiching” the print between the two sheets
We print the image on professional photo paper and not the acrylic itself,
this way we can maintain colour accuracy while delivering the finest detail and smooth gradients.
All this with no fading
A sleek, modern and original looking treatment for your images.
Colours become more vibrant, blacks deepen
Your images will take on an almost 3D appearance
Not many print studios offer this product - Face mounting to acrylic isn't easy!
We finish these prints off with a 3/4” thick inset frame adhered to the back
To which the hanging hardware is attached
When installed on your wall, it will float away 3/4”
